About me

Hi! I’m Carrie.

I’m a classically trained Pilates Instructor with a passion for movement and mindful connection. My journey with Pilates began through my background in gymnastics, where I was first introduced to the method as a child. During the pandemic in 2020, I returned to Pilates as a way to reconnect with movement and found myself falling in love with it all over again. That rediscovery was the turning point - I knew I had to study it in depth, and I haven’t looked back since!

I initially trained with Balanced Body in 2022/2023, earning my Mat and Reformer qualification. While that gave me a strong foundation, I felt something was missing. I was drawn to the original work and wanted to understand Pilates as Joseph Pilates created it - pure, intentional and deeply connected. In 2024 I began my 600 hour fully comprehensive classical training with Pilates Centre in Clontarf, Dublin and found exactly what I had been searching for - a complete system that integrates the body and mind in a truly transformative way.

I have a business & management degree from Maynooth University and I’m a HR professional. In 2017 I discovered the power of breathwork and mindfulness. It was my mindful haven for getting me through stress and exams for my degree which I carried into my corporate life. In 2025 I completed my teacher training course with the Blissful Breath Academy. I did this course to share the power of breathwork with everyone, to help others find a sense of calm and be able to manage stress in life. My guided meditations help you to find your calm and feel at ease throughout your busy day.

My teaching style is calm and focused, guiding you toward a deeper connection with your body - one that supports not just how you move, but how you live. Move better, breathe deeper, think clearer with the MindBody Method.
